Is a Beyoncé and Rihanna Collaboration in the future

Beyonce-Rihanna-Blow-Remix

Could it finally be happening? After all these years? Are our dreams about to come true? Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps!

A rumor is circulating today that Rihanna will feature on a remix of Beyoncé's "Blow" from her critically-acclaimed self-titled album.

Fans have wanted these two pop queens to collaborate for nearly an entire decade, but certain rumors — particularly the persistent one that Jay Z had an affair with Rihanna — and a lack of public interaction between the two women have left most of them feeling like it was absolutely never going to happen.

Given everything that is going on in Beyoncé and Jay Z's world these days, it is not out of the realm of possibility that Beyoncé would pull Rihanna in for a headline-grabbing stunt like this. Rihanna would also slay a track as fun and sensual as "Blow." Also supporting this theory is the fact that Beyoncé has recently been getting some pretty big names, such as Nicki Minaj, to appear on remixes of tracks from her album. You know who is a pretty big name? Rihanna!

That said, it is just a rumor, one that is based on a screenshot of a listing on ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers). The listing misspells Rihanna's name as Rhianna, which is not a great sign. However, Digital Spy points out that Rihanna's name is similarly misspelled in a few of listings of songs that do, in fact, exist

TL;DR: Who knows, Beyoncé and Rihanna might be collaborating for the first time, and they might not. As with all things Beyoncé-related these days, we'll be left in the dark until she decides to surprise us.
